The book discusses acute emergencies as well as some other common disorders for which patients visit the department of accident and emergency for consultation and treatment. Special chapters on pediatric infections, cardiovascular disease, psychiatric problems, obstetrics and gynecological problems, environmental disorders, acute abdomen, and fractures are intended to serve as medically-oriented discussions in patient care.
